Last week Gramma and I took the kids to see Santa. When we arrived at Santa's spot in the mall the line was curiously very short. It turned out that Santa was going to lunch in 15 minutes and would be gone for 45! "Come on Santa, I don't think it would hurt ya to skip one lunch." LOL
We headed down to the food court, grab something to go and went back to get in line. Keeping the kids entertained during Santa's break was not an easy task. After one trip to the potty and a visit in the pet store they were ready to see "The Big Man".
Santa FINALLY returned from his lunch. We were the first in line..yay:) Owen was excited as Santa sat down on his throne. Grace didn't really understand what the hype was all about and Ashton was VERY hesitant to approach Jolly Old St. Nick. She absolutely refused to sit next to Santa. Instead she wanted to sit next to Owen. She held onto his arm the entire time.
After the picture was finished Ashton finally started to warm up to Santa and told him what she wanted for Christmas...."a princess dress and a crown"...go figure.
